Today is the one year anniversary of Sean Astin's first ever interview about his interest in long distance running. It was preparing for this interview that led to him to come up with the concept of Run3rd.

What prompted you to train for this year’s [2012] LA Marathon and what motivates you to keep running?

I love talking about running. I don’t think I’ve given any ‘running centric’ interviews before. So, to your questions. My answers are not linear; in fact, what follows is a spelling error laden [actually not -Ed] stream of consciousness. Good luck sorting through it!
